Why teach on Learning.LK

• Reach students island-wide. Students from all 25 districts can find your courses and learn from you, wherever they live.

• Start free. Open your account on the free plan and upgrade only when you need higher limits.

• Set your own fees. Charge a one-time fee for a course or a monthly fee for ongoing classes, and run discounts when you choose.

• We collect the payments. Students pay by card through PayHere or by bank deposit, and every sale appears on your earnings page.

• Get paid to your bank. Request a payout to your bank account once your available balance reaches Rs. 1,000.00.

• We print and deliver your notes. Students can order printed copies of your notes, and we print them and deliver them to their door.

• Your own public profile. A teacher page with your photo, qualifications, courses and student reviews helps new students trust you.

• Live classes on Zoom or YouTube Live, with attendance records

• Notes and materials for students to download or order printed

• Comments and reviews to answer questions and build your reputation

• Reports on courses, student payments, live attendance, quiz results and earnings

• Notifications by email and WhatsApp, for you and for your students

How it works

1. Create a teacher account with your email address or Google account.

2. Complete your application with your details and qualifications.

3. Get approved. Our team reviews your application and lets you know the outcome.

4. Build your course and submit it for review. Once our team approves it, it goes live for students.

5. Teach and earn. Every sale is credited to your earnings, after our commission, and you request payouts when you are ready.

What you need to apply

• Your NIC number

• The subjects you teach

• Your qualifications and the year you started teaching

• A short introduction about yourself and a profile photo

• Verification documents such as certificates (optional, but they help us approve you faster)

Plans and commission

Every teacher can start on the free plan. Each plan sets how many courses, students and video storage you can use, and the commission we keep on each sale. You can see every plan and upgrade at any time from your teacher dashboard.
